Simon Crossley

Director of Development

Simon began his television career in the BBC’s Entertainment Department, working on primetime formats including How Do You Solve a Problem Like Maria? and The Weakest Link.


Since then he has devised and developed a wide range of quiz and game show formats including: Keep It Spotless (Nickelodeon), Catchpoint (BBC), Unbeatable (BBC), Cash Trapped, 5 Gold Rings, The Switch and Sitting on a Fortune (all for ITV).


He also co-devised the factual entertainment formats The Secret Life of Four year Olds (C4), Goodbye House (RTE) and Bling (ITV), as well as helping to develop the sabotage cookery competition Rat in the Kitchen (TBS).


Simon has led the latest development phase leading to the commissions of Deal or no Deal and The Genius Game and new IP with a soon to be announced large-scale entertainment format.
